Dion Ombler (Hawke 1961-66) e-mailed on 18 Dec 2003:
I was at PoW during the
'reign' of Wigmore and had always assumed that was the spelling, however
noted with interest that the Board has Wigmoore. Other photos, eg School
Prefects - 1964, have commentary that uses the single 'o'. I am interested
to
know if they got the Board wrong!
Webmaster on 18 Dec 2003: Dion is correct. The spelling is indeed Wigmore. I will contact the School to see if they can have the Board amended.
