Henry Dawson (John's brother) e-mailed Webmaster on 4th May 2005:
John left the Prince of Wales School at the end of the second term 1954 to help mother run our farm in Sotik.
Killed in shooting accident Sept 1956
Henry goes on to say that there were five Dawson brothers who attended the Prince of Wales School.
They were all in Nicholson House, in order of age:
Ralph - Jan 1949 to Dec 1954 (Head of School 1954) - Now lives in Staffordshire
John - Jan 1952 to Aug 1954
Teddy - Jan 1953 to Dec 1956 - died 26th May 2006 in Harare (see Obituary)
Henry - 1956 to 1960 - Now lives in Cambridge
Jim - 1959 to 1963 - Now lives in London
