Webmaster received an e-mail from Allan's sister (Alison Hawling) on 23rd Aug 2006:
After PoW , Engineering University in Cape Town, SA
Kenya Regiment and being employed by Atlas Engineering Works, Eldoret (father Manager and working partner)
Went to Western Australia where he was gainfully employed in several jobs before running his own Landscaping
Business for some years
He retired from Maintenance & Groundskeeper for the Board of Education in Narrogin.
Besides his regular job he and his wife were deeply involved with 'Meals on Wheels' and their Senior Center.
Allan fought a long fight with cancer and died on March 15th 2006.
