Tana House as a first former in 1986, then up to my senior house, Athi for 1987-9.
Memories of School:
I remember the dreadful days as a 'rabble' when we had to do dining hall trades in senior house with limited utensils.
I dreaded senior 2 table headed by the Deputy Head of Athi House, Oduor 'Cobra'. The seniors would make you do pressups
during meals.
Our Housemaster was a funny guy, who used to put on the same design of clothes of red, brown and green colours. We
nicknamed him 'Ngweta' because instead of pronoucing the word 'greater' he would say 'ngweta'. He got this name as a
result of a topic in maths inequalities.
Since leaving School:
I joined college to become a teacher, the worked in the Trans Mara among the Maasai, then Kisumu.
Later I decided to resign so as to become a church minister. Currently I serve at Hope Chapel, Nairobi as an
ordained pastor.
